Get To The Clinic

At 5:30AM everybody is putting the lights on looking out in the alley to see what the fuss is about.

Two people fighting, screaming and yelling. A male and female.

It's my neighbor and his girl trying to get to the methadone clinic. Apparently they dug the car out and got out yesterday, but now the black ice and all the extra snow the people shoveled has their car at a stand still.

45 minutes later they are still out there shoveling and screaming at eachother.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo I am not going out to help. LOL His girl could kick my a*s and she sound real mad. I'm just relaying because I remember this "kid" he's around 30 now. I remember seeing him go out for dope in blizzards. One time him and this same chick shoveled for my neighbor. He went around back and got the loot while the girl kept shoveling. Of course he took off. The poor girl was screaming his name and trying to see through the blinding snow. I'm building a fort with my kid in the yard andf she's like "Mom, that lady must have lost her kid".

I recall thinking "Pffffffffff, yeah a long time ago, but NOW she lost her dope money".

Just rambling. Glad I'm not out in this cold looking to cop. That's a Blessing. Hoping my clean and sober neighbor and his girl get out soon. I'll put my boots on real quick and get a shovel.
Hey Bryn; funny how thoughts like that float at you sometimes...I think like that too at times...was really cold here last week, in the wee minus area...and I was remembering thinking how glad I was to not have that old fear of "what am I going to do over Chrsitmas" feeling...knowing all the dealers wont be anywhere at all and knowing I would probably be suffering before Christmas even got half way over...walking around at the train station in the cold...looking to score...worrying and worrying....scared and sick....God I am grateful I do not have to do that anymore either...never thought I would say it...but I am so damn glad to be clean...never again...I hope to God, never never ever again...

Con
Christ, I'm glad I don't live where you do. It sounds like all you people in the states need a gun just to live day to day.
HAHAHA

Mike, we don't all live in the States.

Those of us that do have the right to bare arms only it's the criminals that are bearing them.

Con De Con, chica you sound superb. I am so proud of you. So thrilled to see you here. You're gonna be O.K. I know it. You have any medical questions our Tres knows of all of this. You are a brilliant lantern my dear. You should wear ruby slippers.
