I thought that it might be a good idea to get people thinking with getting fully of all drugs... What do you think? I am SURE you have your own ideas.
???? I don't understand
You mean like caffeine, nicotine, sugar and stuff like that? Not sure if that's what you mean or not. Caffeine would be a real tough one for me. Maybe you could elaborate a little more on your thoughts?

Hey Jan....maybe you can explain what that post meant. I feel like maybe some words were left out or something b/c I couldn't Make sense out of it.
Rhonda, I didn't understand the post either. Maybe they will write back and clarify what they were trying to say. Shantel
Thanks Shantel......i thought for a second I was losing my mind
Its funny that you guys did not understand what i was talking about as I am now starting to doubt my own sanity... Not really... :)
I guess the main point is that I have been surrounded by people that were doing drugs in some form or another and I thought that it would be cool to wake up and not have to use anything to get through the day. To know that all actions you took were because YOU thought thats what should be done and not because you had 20 minutes to get to the Methadone clinic or because your dealer will not wait anymore or for some of you because Folgers was empty this morning.
I am fully clean now and dont even do coffee an stuff anymore - I do occasionally but I dont have to do it... there is a difference I promise.
So all I was trying to bring up was maybe its time to take some action to get clean and stuff. I saw some people saying that "if it aint broke don't fix it" but then when I look at some of my friends that say that smugly about themselves... I think "are you really not broke"... I mean actions speak louder then words and for the most part in their case they are not doing as good as their potential would allow IF they were totally free from drugs...
That is what I was trying to say...
People can get off the drugs - as long as they do their homework and are committed... I know as i did it.

Absolutely people can get off drugs....never a doubt in my mind but I have to agree with Jan.....can't let go of diet soda or coffee w/ caffeine!
I see now why I didn't understand......it should have been "off" instead of "of" in that post.........I just counldn't figure it out...LOL

Ooops... My error. LOL
What detox center are you promoting?
Caffeine in small amounts[2-3cups] has some proven health benefits.Nicotine doesn't.You have to put these things in perspective. Holding up a Starbucks to get at their Italian Roast seems unlikely.
