It shares about getting out of the problem and into solution oriented thinking.
And the hugs difference between just staying sober and having a happy free sober life.
It's about not staying 'stuck' because staying stuck -having one foot in recovery and the other in relapse is dangerous thinking for recovering folks like us.
Essentially it's about learning to live with life on life's terms.....

a wonderful read....i have been over twenty and a half years clean and i still see myself as part of the 'problem' and oft times i question what prevents me from picking up because i feel so defeated and miserable and many who have felt the same way have either picked up or are no longer with us.....
maybe i hang in there because "what if i chose to leave just a mere five minutes before the 'miracle' takes place"......some might see it within a year of recovery or maybe it actually might take place after twenty or even thirty years for others such as myself
i am still waiting...but hey i got time and it might just be five minutes
around the corner.....miracles do happen (sometimes you just don't know
when)
