Happy Halloween everyone,
Its cold and windy here after a beautiful Indian Summer weekend. I hope the kids have warm costumes for tonight. My son was so excited to go to school today as a Power Ranger, I get to work his party at noon....still don't have evrything together, but I work well under pressure.

I used to be volunteered by my son to help at every school party. Those few hours I would spend in the classroom or on field trips really made me appreciate what the teachers have to deal with!

I like being THAT mom, my son loves it. I'm not the super crazy one, just the mom you can count on to help out. I do have a new respect each time I volunteer for his teachers though too. Man, what a job they have.
Jack is good, busy already in my belly. My husband talks to him at night and I swear it settles him down...he did the same thing with my first son and when Chance was born he looked to where my husbands voice was coming from. Twenty people in the room talking, and he paid attention to his dads voice.

I hope everyone has a great Monday, and a Happy Halloween. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am not content to just pass out candy. I want some action, I want to soap my neighbors windows, and drape her house in toliet paper, I want to throw eggs......at someone....LOL

my hubby has given me his nasty headcold...just the first symptoms, swollen glands, sneezing, so I know the rest is coming...arrrggghh!
I have to go into town today and I'm going to check with Jana to see if she's taking Kenny trick or treating...I used to love doing it, but we are so far out in the country, that there aren't that many houses to take Dylan to....

That sucks Janet. Thats one of the perks of living in the suburbs...my street is packed with kids. I almost always run out of candy. I take little man out (with Bella this year of course, she is Incredidog) and the hubby passes out the goodies.

I just went to Costco this weekend and bought a case of toliet paper.....it would be a shame for it to go to waste.

I told my best friend, I'd take her food tonight, since she just gave birth, but I wasn't thinking about it being Halloween. I'm going to have to change it to tomorrow... She's going to be thrilled.

my husband has never given out candy...sad isn't it....i used to bring the candy bag out with me and give them to the kids out on the street...lol

This year I am giving out those glow bracelet things, the ones where you snap them and they start glowing. I got about 100 of them off ebay for 20 bucks. I figured that the less candy I had around the less tempted I would be to eat it. Of course I completely forgot about the load of sweets my kids will be bringing back tonight after trick or treating. I might have to get my jaw wired shut....LOL

Hey Redd... The kids were on their best behavior this morning. It was a really good morning. And yes, they had to read a book, and dress up as one of the characters in the book and then give an oral book report today. For school today, Jesi went as an egg, Dani went as a butterfly, and Shelby went as a cat. I had to make all of those costumes yesterday. Tonight, for trick or treating, Shelby is going as Scarlett O'hara, and Dani and Jesi are going as geisha girls. The costumes are so adorable. I'm going as a witch and Jeff is the grim reaper. We have so much fun.

OMG... it felt like someone had stuck a blow torch up my nose. That sh*t lit me up like a Christmas tree... it burned so bad. I couldn't tell that it helped me, but I know of a few people that swear by it. I hope you feel better.
