Good morning to all!
Today is going to be a great day! because we are clean and sober, So this is my 1st time posting a new topic other then replaying to my post's form a few days back...I hope I am doing this right.You know I remember when I started my recovery a great help was Music, I mean for me when I was using I would listing to music and I would"hear it" but when I wasn't using and when I stopped using, I felt it, I mean I could just feel the music through my body, and it was such a wonderful tool for change for me,as some of you know I am about 2 years into my recovery, and I couldn't be happier........someone mentioned to me earlier when I posted one of my experiences withe addiction one of th many, How nice it is to be free, and they were so right! not only are we all free from the drug we used but we are free from all of the problems that come with it, I feel so blessed to wake up in the morning free, not wondering where I am going to get my fox for that day....not having any drugs when I woke up gave me such an empty feeling Just a loneliness I cant even describe..One of my greatest supporters, is a lady that lives downstairs in the app below me, she has 11 years clean!!! God bless her, for helping me and being there for me, I believe a support network is very important in recovery.......I used for 3 years, and for me it might as well have been 15 years..Now I am clean sober and free, and I work at a Rehab facility helping others where I was 2 years ago.......God bless you all, Have a great day in recovery!! if anyone would like to talk feel free to e-mail me anytime @ welltalkdamnit@yahoo.com anything I can do to help I will... Thanks for wishes of a great day !same to you.It is raining here in NC and we sure did need it .I need to go watch the news and see what happened w/Wilma over the last 12 hours hope all our people are safe and protected!! Have a great day yourself.
