Hi Little H -
I'm just picturing you climbing up in your attic - be careful on that ladder!! You just made me think about checking the lights - all that untangling - I'm really trying to "get in the spirit" here, but feeling like I do......well, I dont want to ruin it for everyone else....so.....I hope YOU have a wonderful Christmas ( of course Thanksgiving, first). I just got back from Dr. a little while ago. Talk about being depressed - I havent even eaten any turkey yet and I've ALREADY gained weight!!!! Oh well, there's always New Year Resolutions, right? Love ya girl.
Marie. Please say Hi to Jackie for me!!!! Wish her the same too.

OMG - Last year my daughter, Amanda 13 - got head lice from some kid in school (I'm guessing - cause most of the class got it)Anyhow, now you have to see Amanda's hair. Its down to her butt and extremely thick and curly. It's the biggest pain in the a$$!!! I had to literally buy multiple BOTTLES of the stuff they use to treat it (I ended up buying the WalMart brand) it was same ingredients and alot cheaper - then you have to do the bedding - everything. But, going through her hair with that "little tiny comb" they give you. Lets just say she was in tears for hours - it really took forever to do. You have to be so careful, if you dont get them ALL and ALL of the eggs, they WILL come back!!! This is one thing that I became an expert on !!!!! LOL
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Love,
Marie
Hey teresa dont say humbug" u dont want those old christmas spirits to pay u a visit lol.... just kiddin u are a sweet lady teresa please stay that way as for me iam fine and headlice is a real pain in the u know what the kids and every thing else has to be washed down my son got it from school in grade 5 i never heard of mayonase before does that realy work my youngest sisters kids have alot of trouble with that they are only 6 and 8 years old they keep putting on other kids hats in school or share combs amoung there friends" as for my son back then the nurse told us to use a type of shampoo i forgot the name it was about 5 years ago but i am sure it was toxic if i remember it sure smelled bad but it worked anyway ask a nurse now there might be somthing out there thats not so hard on the scalp and the kid does not have to walk around smelling like a medicin cabinet at least in the schools now they send notes home warning parents if there is a case of headlice in school when they do i get the teach to send homework home and keep my son home till they cleared it up in school it may sound wierd but it worked he only had the lice once KNOCK ON WOOD ever since i started that he never had lice again . anyway please take care dear teresa and please no humbug LOL.... Ok daft question but what would you all say if there rearly was a father christmas eh? what would you say to him apart from wheres that bike i ordered in 1970 lol jackie xxx
Jacky, I think in our heart of hearts, we all WISH there WAS a Santa Claus. SO weird you said that about the bike in 1970. I got one that year. I was only 11, but it meant alot because I didn't have one. I remember seeing my Dad trying to hide it in a garage (ya, so I knew!!!). Now that I reflect back, it's a very touching moment to me.
Hi Danny -
How are you feeling today?
I'm getting old - my youngest (9)Tony - told me last week that he KNEW that there was NO Santa Claus. Of course, I told him that I guess he wouldnt be getting any new toys then, because I had already spoken with Santa, etc. He looked at me and said, "C'mon, Mom, I'm already 9 years old - I already know that there's not a real Santa - last year I saw some presents hidden in the utility room"!!
It's not fair!!! I dont want him to grow up yet. Oh well, I always have Kylee, my granddaughter Ha Ha - Spoiled Rotten by Grandma.

Have a great day!

Love,
Marie
Marie, we are all getting old! (And I'm only 45). I worry about my daughter, who is 19, having a kid, because that makes me "Grandpa". hehe. My kids range for 2-19, so I guess I'm in this for the long haul. I think kids "want" to belive in Santa (or as my kids call him "ho-ho"), just like we all do. It's around the 8-9 range when you kinda figure stuff out..about EVERYTHING...
Hi Danny and M i just think its so sad when that happens i was reflecting yesterday and i can remember the inocence of believing and wow how i wish i could sometimes be that excited again but its a age thing the cynical view we adults have such a shame. hope you are well this am jackie xxxxx
Just wanted to pop in on your thread little H and say HI to you. Hope you are doing great. Have a happy Turkey day!!!!
