Good News And Bad News

The good news is he is Stable and there was no need for an blood transfusions.

They are checking to see if the Cancer spread or is it contained. The bad news is I am a doctor but because of complications they had to put another bag . Unable to put into words the medical reasons other than there was a STRONG possibility for leakage which would mean Death. So they had to call in another surgeon put another bag which he mus deal with for 6 weeks. 2 bags instead of one.

He had his bladder prostate and any other tissue ripped out. its all burnt away .Amazing what bad chemo can do and you still live as my Father is one tough SOB--he will not be happy to find 2 bags instead of one.

But he is alive. I have an early Appointment and then i am off to the hospital to see him and my family.

Thanks for all the kind words. I appreciate ALL of them.

Good Lord. That poor man. He is tough.

Jeff,im glad to hear he made it through and is in stable condition.Yes,he may be upset about the two bags,but if its temporary??? It wont last for long thankfully.

Your father sounds like a strong man and I pray for his continued recovery.

What a relief to read that your father pulled through the surgery. I'm so sorry to hear of the complications, and let's hope they are only temporary.

It's been a hectic few weeks (and few weeks to come) but I will try to call you this weekend to catch up with you.
