Hi Jeff yes I was thinking about talking it over with my Dr.Why do you have any info?Ill listen to anything.I belive in educating myself fully before discussing things with my Dr so if you have ANY kind of info please pass it on...mj

Love you too Poopie your very special to me...mj
Molly do you have a problem falling asleep? or is your problem staying asleep?
Good Morning to all.
MollyJean, My opinion on Lunesta is becareful as I believe it is in the same family as Ambien, meaning it is addictive. It also gave me a really bad metallic taste in my mouth when I took it. Yuck! How about Trazadone? It's non addicitve and the doc in rehab gave that to folks that were having a tough time sleeping. Anyhoooo, I hope you find something because I know what sleep deprivation feels like..it is the pitts! Hang in there!

Thanks MJ, I got up late this morning. I took a med yestereday afternoon and it made me sick last night. No dinner, just a visit to the goddess on my knees. Well, it was either the med (which has never made me sick before) or some bad Taco Bell. Not taking that again, or hitting South of the Border, which sent my dinner North of the Border.

Coffee was cold, so I went over to the house and made myself a huge cup of tea, the mugs I got are so big, I swear they hold 3 cups. I'm hoping to clean the bathrooms today and move over some more kitchen stuff. I got all my pots and pans moved over, still have a bunch of storage dishes to move. My mom and dad bought me that pull out storage system with lids, but the small containers will not take the lids (what a drag). My husband built 2 cabinets with pull out drawers for food...all the rest of the cabinets are for storage...geez, I don't know that I will EVER be able to fill them up, but I'm sure I will. According to UPS tracker my kitchen chairs will be here today...can hardly wait to get rid of the folding chairs in the kitchen. But then the chairs need to be stained and varnished. I just have to brag one more time on the beautimous kitchen table my hubby and bro-in-law made out of leftover cedar....it is probably the most beautiful table I've ever seen. He put 5 coats of varnish on the top.

I hope that you get your sleep worked out, I know all too well how lack of sleep affects me. Last night I slept through, but then again, it's in the 40's so I didn't wake up sweating 2 or 3 times last night. Slept all the way through.

Morning Jeff, Poopie and Pammy...hope I didn't leave anyone out, or it'll be another edit...lol
Good morning all. All the best to you today and all that follow!
Darin
Morning Darin, hope you have a wonderful day!
Id have to say both. Most nites Ill fall asleep & if Im real lucky Ill sleep 2 hrs than Ill be up for 2-3 hrs than Ill usually go to bed when my brood leaves in the morning for a couple hrs/(Today I think Im heading back that way soon.I feel so darn drained all the time. This has been going on almost a year.
As far as the trazaone(sp)that is also something I will be discussing. But honest Ive got all this info off the net but I would rather hear from people(like yourselves)that have the experiance with it all.So please keep info comming. To me knowledge is power, the more I have the stronger I become...mj

Well guys my eyes are drooping & I just feel Walter taking over(GOD HELP ME)So I am going to lay back down.
Jeff or whoever it would mean alot if you guys tell me all your knowledge on this no sleep
FYI Ive cut back caffine,& every other thing suggested still no go.So if you all have any info whether its on Lunesta,Trazadone whayever.Ill probaly be back around noon.TO ALL HAVE A GOOD DAY...mj
M.J Lunesta is a sleeping pill. Do not listen to the B.S how its not addictive.

The problem with these types of drugs is if you do not get 7-8 hrs of straight sleep you will feel awful in the morning.

Its just like ambien but they are hawking it as a non addictive pill and where you can stay on it for long periods.

If you fall asleep and then wake up with your mind racing all over this med is not going to stop the racing.

Have you tried serequel? It works.

Good Luck--Jeff

M.J its was hard for me but cut out ALL caffeine and exercise 4-5 hrs before bedtime 15-20 minute brisk walk.

Do not eat or drink anything after 6pm
I agree, the Seroquel was the best thing my Dr ever did. I had been on Ambien before that.

Seroquel definately works for that "racing mind" symptom. Plus it works on the Bipolar. It made my bad moods and anger come to a minimum. I take enough to knock out a small army, but since I got used to it (took 2 weeks of nodding out during the day) I normally have a good nights sleep. My biggest sleep problem is waking up soaking wet with sweat, I usually throw off all the covers and crash right back out.

I slept all the way through last night, I think my husband came in this morning before he left and said something...totally stuck on whatever he said, I will have to call him and find out today...lol
Hiya, I too suffer from a terrible sleep pattern due to coming off heroin. I was given trazodone by the detox clinic and they do help but I would defo recommend you make sure you have a full 8 hour's sleep as they will make it difficult to get up in the morning for work. I take half a tablet if I need a sleep through the week and a whole one at the weekend. I usually only take them when |'m really tired and need a helping hand. They are non-addictive.

Goos morning everyone.

Janet, I haven't seen you for awhile, everything ok?

Jeff, how's the pain this morning?

MJ, please tell me you've at least gotten some sleep since we last talked.
Hi Lisa! I'm fine, just been busy with family and the new house. We are moving things in now, 2/3 of my kitchen is in, hope to get beds in this weekend, but I'm not sure what my hubby's timetable is.

I had a wonderful visit with my parents, got a call yesterday afternoon and they arrived home safely. I hosted Thanksgiving in the house. My mother-in-law said the Blessing and my house is officially blessed now.

Lisa, I hope that things are getting better with you, I did some lurking while family was here, got on mainly late at night. Unfortunately was witness to some south of the border threads. That's life and the board...
I'm so glad that you sound so happy Janet. Life is good, isn't it?

So, when the beds are in, will you move in? Have you heard from Pam?

Life goes on and so does the board.....:oP
Good Morning all,

Just want to comment on Ambien and any other sleeping aids on their class.

If you tell your doctor to give you 5-10 pills only, you can not become addicted to that amount. It may or may not get you back on track in terms of sleeping.

If you all remember, when Ambien first came out, they prescribed it for 5 days only, to help with getting your sleep patterns back on track.

I agree, it is not something you want to take every night, or you will become dependent on them.

Hi LIsa:

I am doing better. Each day my voice is getting stronger. By next week should be 100%.

Just got a small contract assuming I can get my CFO to make some changes in the contract.

2nd day back from vacation that is sweet. Small but they all add up.

Pain is pretty bad. Down to 5mg of prednisone. Never been this low before. EVER.

Taking Ibuphrophen 3X a day.

How are you doing?

Feeling better?

Work is so dead. The year is over. Any business you close now is gravy.

Were hanging by a thread.

You have a good day Lisa--Jeff

Lisa, I haven't heard from Pam, I emailed her the day before yesterday and haven't received a reply.

Once the beds, dressers, couch, (cable) and TV are in it will be a matter of weeding through what is staying in the trailer. I still have some cleaning to do in the boys bathroom, and yet one more mop-job in the hall and on the stairs (we keep dragging concrete dust on the floors). I'm hoping Tyler will be home to help me dust the woodwork this afternoon.

I'm going to leave the unused things in the trailer and have a yard sale this Spring, no hurries there...
