I am freezing my hiney off in NY and truth told...I AM SICK OF IT!!!!!!I just wanna go out and sit in my yard and play with the dog. Every A.M it' like waking up to frozen world...oh well,it'll make Spring so much sweeter. I have to work all next week(yippee!) so I will be staying at my bosses(friend) house a few overnights to avoid the drive home. I know I will miss my pets(forget Tony LOL) and it's hard for me to sleep w/o my cat(sad, but true) I think she is cuddling up because she loves me so much...probably just trying to keep warm. Every time I lower my dose I fel more alive...didn't realize how much of a fog I was in. I was referred to a major pain clinic...I said no..because i know they will offer patches and pills and I don't want to even hear it...my addict brain will start working it's satanic b.s and before you know it....NOTHING is going to stop my pursuit of freedom. Hey sweety I didnt see your post.Yup I agree when your dog freezes his nuggets(I love that)its too darn cold.

Hey Sharon I too am in New York Buffalo that is, and let me tell you it is freezing here too. Windchills are at minus 14 today. I could even live with that if it werent for all this friggin snow. We actually had to dig our mailbox out and my three year old could not play in the snow because he couldn't even walk to where the others were playing. I really get the blues during the winter but this is nuts I just wanna get outside and play

Hey Roxy at least you have know.Sharon & I live way downstate from you & I know that for us having snow is an important thing.We maybe have had 1 in total?I worry about that because where I live that snow melt we get in the spring helps our water supply.

Hey Molly thanks for the welcome. We have enough snow to fill the Atlantic over here hee hee. Oh I meant to tell you I know you love your cats. On one of my highs I decided to buy a cat. The mother had died and the kittens were all found in a field lying next to her. We didn't even know how old the little guy was. We ended up taking him and having to feed him formula for a few weeks so he was really young. My son named him Mario and had been begging for a kitty for a while of course claiming he would do all the work YEA RIGHT!!!!! We almost ended up giving him away because he kept biting and scratching us. We had him fixed and declawed and he is much tamer but I was nervous. He has become one of us. I never thought I would have a cat, we have a dog a beagle and they get along ok. I love the purring sound they make it is so relaxing. My hubby didn't want a cat but agreed and guess who the cat loves, thats right hubby go figure I do all the feeding and changing of the liter box. One more thing have you tried the rollaway litter box I love it

Roxy ok please know I think what you did was so AWESOME.I love all animals but theres something special about kittys to me.
Now PLEASE dont take this the wrong way ok?May I ask if the little guy is an inside cat?Myself I dont believe in declawing,as a matter of fact we wont adopt out to people who do.The poor little guy is probaly something called a (sp)feral cat.Which is a wild cat.They usually travel in packs & usually do not go near people.I work with alot of them & BOY talk about time & patience to get them to the adoptable point.
Anyways,I am in no way putting down what you did as you saved that baby(how wonderful is that)I just am hoping hes an inside kitty because if not without his claws hes defencless......

Edited to say do you mean one of those automatic litter pans?If so my cats would be glued to the ceiling.In PetSmart I seen this thing that is suppose to help you train you cat to go on the toliet!!! Now THAT seems funny.I get pictures in my head of a cat sitting there with the morning paper reading!!!!LOL

I would give my left arm for a foot of snow...but THAT'S not going to ever happen.

time to get you jealous...yesterday it was sunny and 68 degrees...very pretty day! but today we are back to overcast and slightly cooler. I hate when we are in these up and down temps, I guess I'm ready for Spring....too bad we have to get into that humid hot weather in the summer.

LOL with 3 cats BOY do I know that.Beings I have to go to PetSmart for the drugtest paperwork Im going to really LOOK at those "train you kitty"things.I dont think my cats would EVER sit on the toliet & I honestly cant see too many doing that!!!The things they come up with?I wonder if they ever work???
LOL Like I said...Have you ever seen "Bruce Almighty"?Remember the dog on the bowl reading the paper?I swear if ever I walk into my batthroom & seen that....Id freak no ifs ans of butts(no pun intended)LOL

Goos everyone, Finally a day off from people asking me how their eyeglasses look on them or complaining about their contacts. I love working with the public but some people can tap on your last nerve. I have already taken my 15 year old to the doctor this morning, been to the bank, went to Burger King, took her to school and went tanning. Now it's time to clean the house and cook dinner. Does it ever end? Hope everyone has a great day. Shantel

Shantel...it never ends...cooking, cleaning, laundry and all that fu stuff. I like to cook early so later in the day all I have to do is heat it...my pain is worse then and by 5:00 dinner is done and all the housework and laundry are done. Then you get to do it all over again!!!! I am now a domestic goddess(aka housewife) ,

Don't worry I was not at all offended. Actually I did a lot of research before I had his front claws removed. My vet is actually the one who talked me in to it. He said that in his office their are a total of 32 cats and every owner has them declawed. Yes he is an indoor only cat. I had read about feral cats but if he was that young would he still have that impression. As far as the rollaway kitty litter box no it is not the automatic one I also researched those and found most people did not like them because they often got clogged. This looks like a cat igloo type box and you roll it to one side and then the other a grate takes all the unclumped litter and the rest empties into a pull out drawer. I LOVE IT!!! I f you want I can find it for you online as it is not available in stores. At least pestsmart and pet co. had never heard of it. Let me know
