Cheers ..Maddy....she has just started opening her presents now....i got her this mad,massive Bratz doll house(im not a fan of the lil urchins)so shes putting it together in her room with her mate Ellen....so its Bratz day there loving it....my mam as usual spoilt her with loads of new cool clothes....and she even got a card from her own mum...with some money in it ...which was a suprise as she hardly has any contact with her.So today is Sians day im really happy for her coz the first thing she did before tearing into the pressies was to give her Dad a big kiss&hug and an i love ya....which melted my heart....i love her so,so much my life would be a barren place without her.
So its bowling at 2pm...with 10 other crazy girls and me so wish me luck with that....i will tell her my cyber mates have wished her a happy b/day...so thanks again it means a lot...........Davey

Ah yes, Bratz and crazy girls, I know it well! It's my oldest daughter's 10th birthday next week. I find birthdays quite stressful. Hope you survive it ok! I'm sure she had a ball. You sound like a fantastic dad to me.

Davey, you brought tears to this old cynics eyes. Truely, you did. A few months ago I would never have been able to grasp the whole thing about just how much you love your kids. I'm feeling like I lost out today, coz I left the baby with my boyfriends mam for a few hours this afternoon, whilst I did some Nitro-Morsing at my house. Man that stuff is vicious - and it's a godawful bloody job, stripping about 15 layers of multi coloured paint, you honestly wouldn't believe the revolting colours people choose to paint their banisters... I'm losing the plot... Oh yeah, I didn't get home till 6.30 and all I did was giver her her tea and put her straight to bed. I feel like I haven't had enough time with her today.
Now my boyfriend has gone out with the boys to Ebbw Vale, of all the godforsaken places, to go see China Crisis. He didn't want to go, but I told him he ought to, coz he's been feeling a bit down lately. Now he keeps ring me up every half hour, more inebriated every time, complaining coz Ebbw Vale is horrible, and he's bored. Well, at least if he's ringing me he ain't shagging someone else! I'm just not feeling very trusting coz I did a condom count a couple of days ago (Yes, I know, totally tragic...) and there were quite a few unaccounted for. It's hard to draw any conclusion other than the blindingly obvious. Part of me doesn't even give a flying phuck anymore. You reap what you sow... Everything will come out in the wash. It always does...
Anyway, I'm off to roll another one...

Jobs it's a damn nightmare, juggling and picking up a script and childcare I watch my man - schoolrun - rush to pick up script - go to work inject in works toilet - rush back to playground at 3.30pm -
Luckily he hasn't got to be in until 10 but it's mad and he works his lunch to leave early.
The important thing is your little girl has a very loving Daddy who is doing his best and she'll grow and learn to love and respect that.
I believe everything happens for a reason there will be something better around the corner for both of you.
As for the meth play on their sympathy what can they do isn't everyone's aim to get ex addicts into work put the ball in their court anyone's court - doctor - drug worker - anyone who will listen.

Well...guys the party was great all her real mates turned up and bowled away for 2hrs.happy as larks and went home stuffed with sweets and cake....my big 8yr.old got all she wanted and more so she thinks shes the buisness now.Im briging my mum and Sian for dinner today so at least i can top off the wknd on a good note and have a couple of well needed pints later.

Christ, I can't get my head round all these toys. Fortunately my baby is still delighted by a bit of scrap paper, and her current favourite is a penguin I got free with MacDonalds. The shops are full of Xmas stuff - I've seen a little rocking horse I want to get her. I'm really looking forward to Xmas this year. Last year was s***, coz me and him were at each others throats. I'm itching to get out the fairy lights, coz it's been two years since I bothered decorating the house and getting a tree and all that. Which is a poor show, coz even when I was on the gear I still used to decorate the house at Xmas. But he wasn't into it, and didn't want to bother. But I got my own house now, so I can go nuts.
And Bryn, sorry to bring you crashing back down to earth, but my house is just a lowly council house. It's a dream come true for me, but I ain't got no balconies, no dance floors and no bar.

Differ....Sian was exactly the same as a baba a bit of a cardboard box would become a wonderland to her when she could crawl or totter about...thinking about it now i would laugh my arse off when she started walking she would get halfway cross the room then waver and plonk her nappy incased bum down giggling to herself....but you will notice once she starts skool things change a bit of course they still rely on you but theyve got...the added peer pressure of new found mates.The best thing i did was put her in a creche when she was about 3yrs.toughned her up a bit and made her better at interacting with the other kids ..good or bad...but the thirst for info at that age is truely amazing.I could ramble on...but im off to treat Sian and my mam to a bit of Sunday lunch...at a nice lil country boozer....so il have a pint or two of the black stuff for ya....cheers...all the best.........Davey

How about Tylors Town working mans club, to see a female Elvis tribute? Man, the valleys, it's like paying a visit to the cave of the demented ones from mad max... sorry to all the valley boys and girls, but hell, you know it's the truth! I once went shopping at the designer village at Ebbw - my ex gave me a wad of cash and told me to go spend it. But I'd had a bad hit in the car before I hit the shops, and had to run out of the changing rooms half dressed to go throw up on the pavement. Oh the life of the junkie is so glamourous!
