OVER ONE YEAR!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!
And I SO agree with you on not being able to do it alone and especially about not liking what you may hear from some of those willing to show you the way to true recovery!! I originally HATED what some were saying to me in the beginning!!!! I was doing great at ignoring....my ears were stuffed with cotton!!
After hearing the same great advise many times, I finally REALLY HEARD IT and took action - I let go of control, stopped doing it my way and let someone else that knew more than me drive that bus!!
The bus I am riding is on the RECOVERY ROAD!! And I am having the time of my life!!! It's an awesome party on this bus EVERY DAY!!! No drugs or alcohol, no foggy mind, no daily fear & anxiety, just love & friendship learning a new way of life ..... happiness & contentment feel SO good .....
