Are you on day 11 already? How's it going? I'm doing pretty good. I have my highs and lows each day but am overall doing good. Hope you are to.
Shelly

Your inquiries about me give me chills -- I am sooo touched by your concern.
I feel as if I am continuing to improve. I have stopped crying for now and as Bullwinkle said " the fog will lift." and it seems like it has. If I go out, I have been able to make my way back to my own house. I took a kickboxing class tonight w/o opiads. :) I mentally check off every activity that I do now without taking pps and consider each a small victory i.e. cooking dinner, talking to my mom, just daily activities.
Spring has returned here and I am glad I am sober to enjoy it.
We have an interesting story going on with the Cincinnati Reds. Josh Hamilton, an outfielder, was/is addicted to cocaine and crack cocaine. He was drafted pretty early on by the Yankees or Red Sox about three years ago, but he was so buried in drugs he never played. He said he could not even watch baseball because it was too painful to see what he could be doing. Well, it seems he has gotten clean/sober. He is a real talent with as they say " all the tools". He is just really doing well, hitting, fielding. He is the "feel good" story in Cincinati and has the ability to be a real inspiration to all of us who struggle with addictions.
Maybe this is more than you were asking for. I will say, with the help of you guys, I am improving and you have given me the confidence that I need to beleive that i can stay clean/sober. I read the posts like "What positive thing did you do today"? or "How do you stay clean/sober?" I ALWAYS find inspiration and write in my journal your words of wisdom. I guess I am rambling. But you guys are always on my mind. Love, Gracie
