Grandma Brag Thread

Just Jodi

How could life get any better than that?

Hawk
I know. I miss my boys being that age. It's awesome.
See? That's what it's all about. Those are the times I could care about anything but those kids. Those are the times I forget that I have anything but love and joy in my life.

By the way, they call me Grandma...Grandma Jodi. That means alot to me.

I spoil the hell out of them. Even though they make me feel old...lol.

I've been around since their mom, my stepdaughter was 10. So I am Grandma to them.

It is awesome and I love them more than I could ever imagine.
Jodi, she sure is adorable.

Hawk, so good to see you. How's things up in OK?
Hi all,
Havent been here in quite a while. Its so nice to see so many of you still here for each other. Not just supporting but simply "being there" to share lifes every day ups and downs. This board is truly made up of many good people.
Janet - that baby is GORGEOUS! Sorry to hear of your problems in the other thread. Life is that way. It will turn around. You will feel better as the weather warms up and maybe hub just needs a wake up call that his wife is a gem and he needs to stop taking you for granted. Sometimes - WE have to tell them and not expect them to figure it out themselves. Most men are little more than walking dumbbells.
Jodi - what a blessing to have those beautiful grandchildren. Do you realize you have the whole wide world in your hands? Give them the best gift of all - a healthy grandma. It will come back to you in ways you cant imagine. When I see those pictures, it makes me believe in you. You can get and stay clean for them and for you. For the future of all of you. Please stay strong. Hang in there.
Jeff - You do have a full plate but I hope you are remembering to take each day as the gift it is and make it the best you can.
I hope to catch up with everyone here on the other threads but I just HAD to comment on this one with these pictures of what LIFE is all about.
Lisa - congrats to you too! Cant wait til grandbabies are part of my life as well.
Donna~~~
Nice to see you Donna...

Jodi, in all the time I've known you, I had no idea that you had grandkids! They are adorable.
You are all so lucky. I wonder if I have any pictures of my son's freakin dogs anywhere. They are the only grandkids I have.
Let me tell you about my grandpuppies lol
I can relate Kat

I have 2 - Patches and Freckles - they are cockers - 6 and 8
Freckles tried to eat me a couple of times when I took care of them while my son and d-in-law were out of town. She is way hyper.

Now I want some w/o fur.
Becky
My son is 37 and I am really tired of waiting. He doesn't even have a steady chick. Got any single daughters that are fertile? Maybe I'm not too old to adopt.
Kat

no girls here - a 25 yr old single son and married one is 33 and has been married for 6 yrs - and all they have are cocker spaniels.
I only have 2 male shih tzus at home - thank goodness - they do entertain me.

I say I have always had "googies" in the house - in the last 35 yrs -
2 husbands - 3 sons - 5 dogs and all have googies.

They do all have better hair than me AND longer eyelashes!
