I just wanted to say that it is very exciting to see all of these new people coming to the board and working on sobriety it really makes me feel good to see all of us working together to live again.I want to say hello to all the people that are new here and encourage you to continue to come here and of course join a 12 step program to get much support.I really believe that part of our healing is sharing with one another so with that I want to say" Thank you" to all of you that have been clean for awhile and come here everyday to help us new to sobriety whether it be our first of 50th time .I am always reminded that this is a "WE" disease so therefore w/out all of you I would surely fail .
There are so many people that have this seasonal depression so I realize it is hard to get sober this time of year and it reassures me that when we have had enough there is always someone else trying to do the same thing I AM doing no matter what day it is I am so grateful for all my fellow recovering addicts today and everyday Thanks to all of you!!!!Cristina

Hard for me to say...about 4 months I think. My bosses husband found her in the middle of the road in a garbage bag with all her dead bro's and sis'. There are some sick people out there. And everyone knows I'm a sucker for the strays. Both my other cat and dog were discovered homeless as well.
She's just crazy. Does backflips and flies through the air landing on my head which she proceeds to shred. Very pretty...half siamese, half tabby. Beautiful taupe color and subtle markings with crossed blue eyes. Fits in this madhouse just fine!!

Oh my God...a garbage bag??? That makes me sick to my stomach. How do people like that sleep at night.
You are a good soul for rescuing her. My cousin found a kitten that had been abandon and it's little eyes were almost gone, from what, I don't even want to know but she put hundred's of dollars into it only for it to go blind. She now has this little thing in her house. People like you and her have a special place in heaven...
