I see you,re a real expert at at changing avatars. I,ve wanted to do this for awhile,but I always screw it up then forget about it.
Then I see a cool one that you (or someone else) puts up, & I want to try again.

Is it possible that you can give a computer challenged person some simple directions (in layman's terms) so that I can try this mindless/harmless fun.

Well....their are a couple of ways to do it but let's go with this one....go to Photobucket and create an account(it's easy and free). Once you have you have that down then you will be able to chose from millions of images/avatars or if you have a preferred liking(like music is for me)then do a search and pick your favorite one(which will change over time as you get the hang of it). Then click that image and to the right of it you will see"Direct Link-Layout Pages".....double click the link below that(an image of the word copied should appear briefly)and come back to here and go to "My Settings",hit edit avatar and paste the link(by right clicking)in the box were it gives you the choice to "Use avatar from other website".....then hit the "Add the avatar to my profile"bar and all should be go from their. Let me know if that helped....if not we will get till you got it.

user posted image....this was me until I got it....LOL!

user posted image.....Tell you what....name the time you know you will certainly be online and I will walk you right thru....it is simple but hard to get to...I speak from experience! The key to it all is when you get the image you want from photobucket and click on it you will see that image alone......slightly to the right of it you will see

...just right below it is what you want to copy....just click it twice and you will see the word copied.....once you have done that come over here and follow the edit avatar pace.....you will get it!
