Hello good people!
First and formost .............THANK YOU....y'all are the best!
You know .....I went to the market first thing this morning and I looked like I needed to have a tin cup in one hand and a cardboard sign in the other(LOL)....... I kid you not friends I looked a right mess...complete with a week and a half's worth of hair on my face. As I was in the checkout line waiting to ring out a thought came to me.....years back I remember standing in a dope line on my birthday dressed and looking sharp from head to toe. Fresh hair cut, fresh shower, fresh feet(shoes),and a fresh scent with no place to go or no real way to celibrate.....still I thought that I was KING! Coming back to today I had to just smile inside and out at the contrast of me then and me now because you see at the end of that day then I had only a public bench or a shelter to go to(looking sharp and all) but today I was able to go back home from the market to a home....my home....one that is surrounded with things that make me happy and content, food in the fridge, clothes to wear in the closet, and the love of my family close by. Something so simple as being able to get up to go to the market as opposed to getting up going to a dope line makes me see what a blessing it is to be free from the pain and thankful that you special took time to think about me because just to think....had I still been standing in that dope line I would have never come across you wonderful people! ATB to you ALWAYS!

BTW, looking good in the dope line on our Birthday's stays with us cause the good Lord knows wasn't often we were pretty and shining and sporting when we used to line up.
One time on my Birthday I thought I looked so hott. Wearing gifts family gave me cause you knew they weren't throwing me cash. I'm thinking "Look at me, I look great" and then one of the dealers asked me if I was WORKING????!!!!!!!!!
Talk about mortified and the sad part was if I kept it up I would have been saying a huge "Yes, Sir" and messing up my hawt outfit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
