It's just kind of hard to be true to that some days. I was hoping your son got in touch, but maybe better if he didn't. I just hope you enjoyed your birthday.
Gotta tell ya, I won't be on for a week, I'm headed to the mountains for a week with my hubby. My dad has a small cabin. We'll be leaving Sunday.
Haven't seen or talked to my daughter. I hope she behaves & doesn't get into any trouble. We'll check with our other daughter daily.
My son called though & he's doing well. I like those kinds of calls! lol
I read about the twerking thing & you can FORGET it from me! lol 52 year old lady with no butt. Not attractive.. lol

I am happy you and hubby are getting away. We will miss you but being at a cabin where you can't be termpted to check in will be good for both of you. I find myself checking in alot and my 9yr old granddaughter gets annoyed that I'm on my tablet so much. Love all you guys so much!!

Hi dee, we didn't do much over the weekend except I did visit my 89 yr old mother on Sunday. My son hasn't seen her since he's been in jail for over a year so he took the transit bus down to our house and visited her. Just so happened my sister was there visiting too and my brother was home too (he lives with mom) All my siblings live in town! So my son got to visit and they were glad to see him. He seemed good, was dressed neatly, shaved, etc. which was a HUGE relief after that episode with my GD st the. movies a day after he got out of jail. We are also going to meet my younger son tonight to do volunteer cleanup in town. Every week the volunteers clean up trash in a different area. Today it's at a skateboard/bike park. He actually asked if he could go with us to help so we'll see how it goes. One day at a time! He may still be using but until I see that he is, I keep my mouth shut and just enjoy being with him and him with his daughter. I pray for all of us here on this message board. I hope you had a good peaceful time away and no bad news a out your daughter.

I got the best present, my baby is going to have a baby. It was exciting, however my younger son did asked if I had heard from his brother. I saw the sadness in his face when I said no. He wants to know if he is dead or alive, and I understand that. Poor guy saw them bring his brother back to life and then put on life support system. I've done a few times with him so sad to say it's like an old shoe. But my baby was so scared.
I hope you guys had a whale of a time and you made sure hubby knew who is first in your life. He should be coming home with a huge smile on his face!! I can't wait mine comes home Friday, he works overseas and is gone for three weeks, so 'wink' wink' my old and greatful hubby will know he is home and going to be a pappa!
I really love you guys sincerely you made my life easier. Today I started back to work and my co workers were asking me about my children, and first time in my life I wasn't ashamed to admit i have a Heroin addict for a son. Lost promise, lost of someone who could of change the world, he had a genius IQ. But I wasn't embarrassed it wasn't my fault, he is what he is.
And girls I thank you for that, the strength to be honest about it and not avoid the question of where he is.
I love you girls!!!
