No lie there's just ONE thing on this earth anymore that makes me feel alive and it's Blues. I had Koko BLARING last night as the young new neighbors sledge hammered walls down.
"I'm a WOMAN." Later the one young guy says "Ha, we heard you in there belting that out". I said "Yeah and every word of that song is true I can make love to a crocodile so keep hammering kids. Mind your business."
Love the new neighbors. Now I AM THE OLD BROAD OF THE BLOCK!!!!!!!!!!

We are sisters, Bryn...blues is my all-time favorite musical genre. Went twice to the New Orleans Jazz Festival (pre-Katrina in '95 and '96) and heard the best of the blues. Love Koko...saw her with Keb Mo a few years back...love young Johnny Lang who put his own twist on the blues...Vaughn brothers...all of it...including some of the real old-timey stuff.

I,m an easy person to forget Bryn,man if i didnt speak you wouldnt even know i was there.
I had a fab day wi my 2youngest kids,my son had stayed from the nite b4 then in the morning my wee one came up wi my card and presents,just like a birthday so it was.We were all together for the whole day.In the evening we went out for a meal,their mum and my nephew came too.
So apart from the usual bickering between them it was a truly great day with quality time with each other spent all round.
My eldest sent me a card and called me also as she lives 3 or 4hrs away in Newcastle,England so thanx for asking
and its good to report back a favourable response,long may it continue..Eck..

Honey, I didn't have to do much traveling to see her...she was in Boston and it's only 20 miles from here...all I had to do was leave the house =)
