Up early on Sunday has become a real habit for me. I put the coffee on and go get the NY Times and kick back for awhile.
Going back to work after being off a week could be tuff- but the older I get the more I look foward to it.
Theres only so much constuctive sh** you can do with all that time, Besides the spending $$ usually is gone before the vacation is.
Well time for me to get the paper- talk to ya later-

not to bad, and getting just a tiny bit better each day. today is 80 days clean for me but more important than that for the first time in my life i truly believe it wont be the last. why you up so early? i thought i was the only one who got up this early on a sunday morning.

Morning Jax & Wolf,No Wolf,youre not the only one up at 5 am on a Sunday morning. I always take my grandchildren over for the night on Saturday nights and my grandson whos 6,is always up at the crack of dawn.He came in and got in bed with me & Papa at 4:45,moved around and moved around,pulling blankets,fianlly at 5:15 i decided not to make him suffer anymore,lol,so....We're up!!!Yippeee! Hes watching cartoons and as soon as his 4 year old sister wakes up we will head to Micky D's for hot cakes,our Sunday tradition.
Jax,sounds like youve got your day all planned,ironing? I didnt know anybody even did that anymore?I dont even have an ironing board.
Wolf ,hubby will watch football later,but car racing is FIRST!!! Man,he watches qualifying Friday and Saturday nights,Then racing all day Sunday,soooooo boring,lol.i'll keep busy grocery shopping and laundrey(fun,fun,fun)~KIM

good morning kim. sounds like the grandkids keep you very busy, what a true blessing. i know when i have the opportunity to have my kids here with me it makes everything so much better, just to watch them laugh.
i never got into car racing used to think it was just boring boring boring, but i guess if its as popular as it is there must be something to it so i try everynow and then to watch but still just dont get it. but oh well alot of people dont get football either so who am i to judge.

Yep,they are open at 5 am here,one town over,we even have a 24 hour one,progress huh?LOL...i agree the car racing is boring,but after 23 years of watchign it,whether i want to or not,i can tell you who is who,what numbers,what cars,etc....you know,all the very imprtant info,lol...really it is boring.I will admit though one race i did watch from beginning to end this year was when Danica Patrick raced,i think it was Indy,now that was exciting watching that young girl givign those old guys a run for the money.I think she ended up fourth but led for quite a few laps,that i enjoyed.

over two months is awesome kim, were not that far apart then. today is day 80 for me so yeah thats a little over two months. i know what you mean about the good days and bad days, the good do outweigh the bad most of the time but those bad ones are so overwhelming when they hit. but thats just like an addict to blow things out of proportion. there not really all that bad in retrospect. the key i think is to just string as many of the good ones together at one time as we can. momentum is the key. lol.

and a son who is 8. they dont live with me anymore, but im hoping someday soon that at least my son will be living with me. i think its too late for my daughter being she doesnt understand anything that happened this year between her mother and me and shes soon going off to colledge, but someday she and i will have a better relationship.

Wolf,sounds like you're working hard to get things together,i hope everything works out.Yep,we're not too far apart with our clean time.Right now,besides the sleep or lack there of,i have trouvble with the depression,not much cravings but some days i feel like theres not point to all of this.I do my best to fight myself out of those funks,but it is hard,i just try adn get my mind and body busy with other things,because i know it would be very easy for me to wallow in those feelings and let them consume me.I continually tell myself i have a good life and good family and alot more going for me than most,so i have to be thankful for that.~KIM
i hear you kim, its so easy to think about how bad and depressing things are, sometimes it helps just to write down all the things in life that we are grateful for. i know that helps me immensly. i can sit here and wallow in self pity or i can truly appreciate how good i have it compared to where i could be, and believe me ive been close to falling off the deep end. so i stay focused on where im going and not where ive been, and it sounds easy and i guess really it is but it does get overwhelming somedays. but each day is just another step forward on a beautiful journey. if my life is a story im writing, i am determined to rewrite the next chapter under gods terms and not my own. because i know the chapters ive written for myself always turn out being directly out of a horror movie . lol..
