i have a brother in Long Beach. i visited 4 years ago, and saw LA for the first time.
huge waterfront shipping, naval, etc. between LB and LA adjoining each other.
i had never seen something so large and impressive.

I used to live in Queens, I used to have to go back and forth all the time. That was rough. Glad those days are over. Although, I wish I was still in Queens.

i was a nurse...gave up my license to get clean...i had to or i knew i would never stop taking from the job.
so i am a nurse no longer. the state did not catch me. i should have been caught.
it was simply a voluntary choice i made for myself. a big choice, but i felt i had to make it. am clean now 2 and 1/2 years-thank God!

am on disability for another medical condition, and although i wanted to work in some capacity and got to voc/rehab, it just hasn't happened.
so i have spent my time 'recovering'!!
i am fortunate in that sense truly.

i love Glens Falls...last summer i was up there at the Lake on the big boat that serves buffet, etc.
but i think the Adirondacks are one of my favorite places in the east.

It is gourgeous here in the summer,and the Lake is the best.We go every single weekend in the summer,fish swim,boat,camp.Its a nice area.~KIM

my kids gave me a thanksgiving present!!! i gotta christmas ornament that says if mothers were flowers you'd be the one i'd pick! with an angel on it : ) aint that sweet <3 my house smells yummy already. i hope everyone feels happy and healthy, chipper and enjoys. today is a good day here.

The pies are made,the veggy platter done,dressing made,meats in the oven,and everything else is cut,decanned,sliced(cranberry sauce) or whatever it needs to be to be ready to just trun the flame on.I usually am rushing around,but ive been very oraganized this morning,now i can relax and just let it all cook.Its a great feeling when your organized,it doesnt happen often for me,so today...thats one more thing im thankful for.One of my sisters stopped over,i was finishing my pies,i made this different kind of pumpkin pie,it has whipped cream cheese,instant vanilla pudding,pumkin,and coolwhip all whipped together.Well it made so much i had enough for 2 of those pies,i already had made 2 choclate pies,so i offered her one of the pumpkin to take to her inlaws and she was thrilled,shes young,25,and she was going empty handed(as usual,lol)so she was tickled to death and asked how i made it so she could fib a little and tell the all how SHE had made it.So...ive done my good deed for the day,lol.Its heartwarming to see you all so happy and healthy and enjoying this clean holiday.Im proud to be a part of it!~KIM
