Oh my gosh...you guys are awesome. I can't tell you what it meant to me to log on and see that people were pulling for me. You truly brightened my day. My mother is visiting so I haven't been able to be online much. Her presence also adds alittle stress which isn't the best right now. I still want to call you cowgirl. I know I can't stick my head in the sand on this one. I actually gave all but 10 of my pills away so that is all I have. I couldn't bring myself to doing away with all of them. I am so sick and tired of lying and hiding and feeling like crap. They certainly don't make me feel like I did when I first started taking them and they never will again so I don't know what I am chasing.
I will keep you posted.
I hope everyone else is doing well. I thought of several of you today and I don't even really know any of you. Weird. It feels nice, though :)

You know the strange thing is that what your chasing is what keeps bringing you back.Thats what I was chasing before so many times I wanted to quit and just couldn't didn't even try to till on mothers day this year.For me I remember the way I was before pills and thats what I am chasing now.I hope all the best for you and yours and I am here when you need someone.....Jessica

New, Bob B. put up some excellent information on a post called "addiction is a brain disease" and it explains why we remember the way the pills first made us feel. It is funny, my brain is now programmed to "play the tape all the way through" and realize that it isn't going to work like that; the pills don't give me euphoria anymore, and that kept me from picking them up and putting them in my mouth a time or two...

I am fine, thank you for asking. really long day today, but there is a ceratin freedom in that for me. How are you, I just read your taking a break, the standard break here in the US is fifteen minutes so I'll see you than...lol seriously though.. You offer so much to this board, make it a short one, I for one get so much out of your posts.

Redd? No I havent.. and she doent use email either so we cant go that route.. I would really love to hear from her.

Tom..no worries. I'll only be gone for a couple of days. Need to re-group and figure out my priorities. Tired of being kicked to the curb so to speak.
