My doctor told me to take four 1 gram salt pills per day when I was in WD, for the weakness. I was also prescribed Clonidine for the sweats.
The salt helped me tremendously with the weakness, as did the clonidine (doctor said the secret was taking them together during WD)
I am just wondering if anyone else has used salt pills with the same success and also wanted to pass this info along in the event it would be of help to anyone else.
Cautious - if you suffer from high blood pressure you can't take the salt pills though.

I haven't heard of that...thanks for the info. It sounds like it worked!! I know the weakness was devastating...one of the reasons I kept using way back when I was trying to stop.
