Hello-day 4 Beginning

Hello Everyone,
I hope you are having a good day. I cannot believe I am getting through the worst of the physical w/d's. Last night, I spent the evening with my kids. I can barely sleep at night (I know that's normal). My head is still in a fog this morning, but it lifts for parts of the day. But I am hoping for even a better day than yesterday. I looked up information re: AA Meeting or NA Meeting. They have an AA meeting about 10 minutes from me. I wanted to go last night, but my kids really needed me. Plus I don't know if I could have physically moved much lolol. My husband was at work last night. Well I just want to thank you all for support. I hope you have a great day. Take care, Best Wishes

P.S. My husband is a day ahead of me with w/d's and he was on alot less medicine. He has been getting sick for 1 1/2 days Last night he went to E/R. they gave him an IV with fluids and Phenegran for nausea and clonodine. The Dr. said that this can happen. But I have never seen him so sick. Has anyone heard of anyone throwing up alot? Thanks alot. Best Wishes
Best wishes, the nausea is part of it. The clonadine will help....
Keep on trucking, you can do it....
Once you get over this day, you have pretty much entered the other side...

Congrats to you BW and your husband! Sorry to hear about his problems last night, never got that bad for me in wd's, but I've heard of similar experiences. Hang in there...it does get better one day at a time. Jim
Day 4.....that is great Best Wishes......keep on fighting!
About you husband being sick.....mine never threw up...actually ate like a pig....but he had everything else ....spiders in the blood real real bad and lots of panic.....Everyone is different I just read on here somewhere that somebody got sick bad for a few days.
Hope you both are feeling better soon.......
Keep on going. By week 2 I had some horrible panic attacks, had to go home and chill out. But, I got through it. I had phenergan for the nausea.....after 1 month goes by you feel good again. Can't say I have my motivation back, but at least that horrible fog is gone.
misty, I have never heard it called that, but that is a great way to put it!! Spiders..
I used to tell people it was like someone put a plug up your a** and flipped the switch...

Thats the hubbies saying......he said it felt like a million bugs crawling under his skin......thats what he truely hated the worst about wd so guess what he got the worst.....that feeling

Best wishes.......Congrats on day 4. Keep it up.......it only gets easier! I am on Day 23 and feel like singing it from the roof top! Seriously!!! Take care and hope your hubby gets those spiders out soon. I called it"crawling skin". Ver obnoxious, it is. I would just shake my legs trying to get it to go away. It does eventually!
Thanks to Everyone,
Your posts were very motivating. I have been taking care of my husband, vacuumed, dishwasher and laundry. I am still feeling very weak, waves of nausea, the fog is beginning to lift. I am going to try to take my first shower in 3 days and go to an AA Meeting. (I have been only taking baths lololo)! It's only about 10 minutes from my house. I just pray I can keep it going. But I won't overdue it ;o). Thanks again.
Take care, Best Wishes

P.S. Does it really matter if I go to an NA or AA Meeting? I thought I would start where I could make it first. Thanks
