Hi Everyone....
Just wanted to check in...say hello and let all of you know I am thinking of you. Life is hectic right now...As some of you know I decided to move a couple of months ago and its crunch time to get my house on the market...Lots of cleaning out (which is so good not only to get rid of the junk physically but it is also soul-cleansing)...painting, fixing things....We are targeting a week from Thurs that the house will be listed...My move is already planned for June 21st....so packing will be the next mission...I am working 2 part time jobs so juggling has been quite interesting...but it has also allowed me some flexibility to get things done...
I am both excited and nervous about my move...it is good on many levels but some change is involved...not horrific but different...My 17 yr old will be staying here and living with her father...which is okay but it is a little sad to me...My son will be moving with me...I will also have to find a new job...but I do believe God has a plan for me...b/c since I have made this decision many things have fallen into place...
I have had some pretty "freaky" days...emotional and overwhelmed...and although I was praying and working the 1st 3 steps...I really wasn't letting go...I was allowing fear..anxiety...pressure get to me...about 2-3 weeks ago I really lost it...and then it hit me...I was not letting go...I heard the Beatles song "Let it Be"....and a peace came over me...it is what it is and I am doing the best I can...and it will ALL BE OKAY...
Please know that although I don't post as often...I do read...and you are all in my thoughts and prayers...and everyday I am grateful for this board and the wonderful friends I have here....Love Gina

I love what you just said, "it is what it is" and as long as I'm doing the next right thing, life is good...

I'm glad you let go & gave things over to God...I've done the same thing and have come to realize, as long as I stay close to God, everything is exactly the way it needs to be and I have acceptance today...

Thank you so much for being such a great friend and for holding my hand through the last year....how time flys...

Hi Gina, I'm glad you have the courage to make a big change in your life. One that sounds directed by God himself. I'm glad you have faith in him that he's guiding you & giving you strength in your decision to move. I'm also glad you have the program that helps you with your daily living,that you know you can hand it over to God when it gets to tough. I do miss your posts.
