Hi My Partner is taking Subutex for his addiction but i've had reason to believe he has been injecting it. Can anyone shed some light on what and why? you would want to take it this way? Would you get the same hit as you would of a bag of Smack ? How would you help him stop injecting it ?
make him switch to Suboxone. It is the same as subutex but also has Naloxone which is inactive if you take it as directed but if you inject it you'll be in for some horrible withdrawls. If you take it as directed it works EXACTLY the same as subutex so if you suspect he is shooting their is NO reason for him not to switch. thats my two cents. i've had a rough week...will talk about it at a later time.
