Not really. I just haven't hooked my internet up yet. I'm out in the boonies and now I have to figure all this coputer crap out again. I'm not that smart guys! I hope everyone is well. I just wanted to pop in and say hi! I was driving 160 mi. roundtrip to a meth clinic. I just couldn't afford it but I lucked out and found a Dr. that's writing me a scrip. I had to cut back on my dosage but that's ok. I was over-medicated anyway. Y'all take care!

You got very lucky. Doctors can not write mdone scripts for addiction, only for pain.
Someday things might change but that the law for now. Your fortunate your doctor did you nice.
Maybe that's why he had to lower your dose- - also I would bet its not a liquid & they are diskettes or pills. Did he write you a months worth?? Reasonable cost ??
I gotta say- I wish I had a doctor to do that instead of going to a public clinic

Hey! You would not believe how much money I'm saving by going to an MD instead of a clinic. What I would normally pay for 2 days at the clinic, well.. that paid for my entire months. and he gave me pills. (which I like better than liquid. Has Diff had her baby? I haven't read all the posts yet. I'm going to holler at her.

you sound great. The methadone clinics are overpriced. When my brother started getting his from a pain managment doctor "not the clinic" he said he was shocked at how much cheaper it was. Here it's $12.00 a day if you get 30mg or 130mg... It's $14.00 a day for disk. So sad MD "the laws" are not more open to getting addicts help with methadone. I'm glad i'm off it now but, man i'm thankful it was there when i needed it!
