i was posting on here years ago when i was engaged to a heroin addict turned crackhead turned....i dunno.
anyway-tonight, acually at 3. my sis and her boyfriend went to cop some dope. (they've been clean for 4 weeks). he shot up only half a bag and he stopped breathing right in the car. turned blue then his heart stopped. she tryed ressusitating him untill the medics got there. thank GOD he is ok. he really want to stop. hes a great guy from lousiana who cant go home bc there is no home for him. his father doesnt want him. my father wants him out and he has no where to go. i understand how hard it is to kick something being a past crack addict. what do i do?!?! hes been tryin his hardest, got a job and even after this all went down-he went into his first day at work. how do i go about this? help! anything!
this was in NJ too. where the bad "batch" is comming from

You don't go about this because this is not your burden to bare! It is he who has to face his reality. What you can do is offer help without inabling......help on a limited basis. Tell him to try harder by giving himself a chance! All the best!

its not a burden. no one will give him the chance to have a chance. unless he ends up on the street.
It is a burden, when somone tries to help somone who can only help himself, when it comes to the point of reahing out for the unanswered questions. HE is the one who needs to give himself a chance.....no me you or anyone else. Yes and it just may take for him to be out on the steets or in a host of other situations for him to face his pain........IMO. All the best.
I don't know much about sober houses; my mom was in one and so was my uncle; both had nocash... check it out. No matter what anyone says or does he is never going to stop using untill he wants to but maybe a sober house can help.
my dad is a recovering heroin addcit , 6 days clean b/c of detox. he had a heart atact and it could ob been b/c of the bad batch (fetanynol) whichis in Maryland inNJ . he was using 30 day!!!!

We'd been posting about this....the fentanyl with the heroin........how people that are still out there are looking for what everyone is calling a bad batch....announce it on the news, and read it in the paper.........I don't believe the average everyday never used person would get it......get that is exactly what we look for.......the strongest, the purest, the people died from this brand.
It's not just the Tri-State area..........I heard Chicago to Cali, and on.
Any dope is bad dope......every bag of heroin you score is BAD.
