i was wondering if hereditary is a factor in addiction.
all my ancestors have been addicted to something an i used to be addicted to pot but no i am not so if ther is any info please fill me in @ born2board620@hotmail.com
Jack, I have been to rehab 8 times, so I learned quote a bit as far as facts, figures the educational aspects of addiction, and was told in treatment that it is definitely something that can be passed through the generations. This is seomething that they have done stiudies ona nd found to be very true. It doesnt mean you have no hope if your family has a lot of addicts, it means that you are genetically predisposed to addictive tendencies. You are more likely to become addicted to somwething than the average person
