BUT BEEN CLEAN OF GEAR FOR MONTHS NOW AND WONT GO BK ON IT..I KNOW ITS EASY TO SWAP 1 FOR THE OTHER BUT I CANT COPE WITHOUT ME DAD BUT DONT WANNA USE GEAR AGAIN AFTER BEING ON IT 12YRS AN BEING CLEAN FOR NEARLY 6 MOON... WASSUP WITH LIFE..ITS KILLING ME INSIDE AN AINT FAIR....FOOK KNOWS WHT IM WRITING BUT NED TO SPEAK INNIT! I SUPPOSE

When i stoped methadone I started drinking. I felt a lot less Guilty about the beer. I did not drink on H or methadone. I drank when i wanted to use AFTER stoping methadone. It's never the answer. It kept me from using "short term". I kinda know what your going thou. I felt crappy saying my clean time when in fact I still drank now and then. For me that even had to stop when i found I was pregnant so i'm now 13 weeks totally CLEAN. You being a man won't have that happen. You should try to get it out of your life. It has a depressing effect and causes poor judgement that could bring you to using. It's HARD when you don't have just one thing you need to stop. It's scary not having something around to change how you feel. HANG IN THERE, KEEP FIGHTING.
yer spot on mate,even after uve been clean&really dont want it,the booze is the easiest thing to slip into,me like a fool always[not now]enjoyed several red stripes after my 70ml of meth. with a few benzos in the mix&in that mix it was the alcohol that was the danger.sorry to hear bout ter dad charlie,its especiallydeaths close to u that kick in that mood to drink ,coz its a downer after all.best of luck mate...davey
Sorry to hear about your Dad Charlie...glad to hear you've been off the Heroin...be careful though...it's easy to slip back into your drug of choice when you're drinking.
