I actually got my grandson "back" from whatever rock he has been under. Got rid of the "girlfriend" from back east too.
He had a couple bad,sad days and hasnt looked back! He even talks to his sister!!!!! He is showering more and talks to me!!!
I read a post you statred to me last year in June and neither of us has friends that are grandparents or have DIL problems.

New grandson born in Feb. His name is Jack and we all just adore him. Between him and Everlee, most of my days are pretty full. Waiting not so patiently, for Chalice and Kyler to come this summer. They'll be here in a couple of weeks. So excited that Ky is coming this time!

I figured you were just busy livin' life..it's just a little scary sometimes when someone you have been talking to and seeing posts from for such a long time abruptly stops. I knew your grandbaby was coming and knew of the difficulty with your DIL so I was hoping things were going well....and they most defineately sound like they are. Congrats!!!!!!
Yes, my grandson has decided to join the living...his choice of foods changes weekly and he cut his hair. He still sleeps in his clothes but to have the "old" person back is worth it!!
My GD is doing well too. She is totally off the prozac she was on for almost 2 years and is going to summer school. She also met a very nice young man who has asked her out on a date. He is her age and plays football for their high school.The neatest thing is that he is a twin as well, he has a sister!!!!
