I just read your post on the turkey taco's. I could not reply, because someone closed the forum, but how GOOD those that sound. Avo's are like my favorite food. My wife just the other day fried pitas in butter. Said it was something she has as a kid. It was SOOOOO good. We are all going to have heart attacks with food like this!
danny, as she got older and healthier, she didn't fry the tacos anymore. It just wasn't the same....I swear, you have to use the italian dressing on the lettuce..yum.

I actually never go to littlebeach, but big beach is the most spiritual place I know. I love makena. Last year, I saw seven whale sprays in unison against one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in the crystal water...heaven.
I see the beauty so much more now that I am sober.
I will pray for you there...whatever God there is, I feel him there.

Kerry- I LOVE whales. One of my fondest memories in life is sitting at the Marriot in Kani one morning, sipping coffee, and all of a sudden seeing this humpback breach like 300 yards off shore. I mean, how good is that! I've been to your island 5 times. Last time, my wife and I took one of those "tours" and saw a mommy whale with her baby. She came right up to the boat! Now people who dont know, this is a wild animal. Not like a dog or cat. And this mom whale was right there! It was so cool!
The whales are back!! The whales are back!! I haven't seen one yet, but they have been spotted. The coolest thing is that you can hear them singing under the water. It is totally a Discovery Channel thing... I did not know that for a lot of years.

I love it when the babies breach. I have seen some amazing things here. My rule of thumb for whale spotting is to look towards the boats, and you will usually spot some activity. I think they watch us more than we watch them...

I think you are right. I think Mom wanted to "show off" her baby, which was OK with me..it was so cool. I know the whale "season" in H, and now is the time they come back. You'll be seeing them for another 6-7 months, as I am sure you know! Here in Illinois, all we have is snow and stuff, so not much to see!
