Hi Sarah, I read your post @ your but, I have just about the same thing. started 10 years ago. slightly different place. for me its my inner thigh almost in the crease where your but meets the top of your thigh. for me it happened while i was shaving, i cut myself with a disposable razzor that had a small spot of rust on it from being layed blade side down in the shower(didn't know at the time) anyway @15 days later i had this huge thing on my crease like the size of a baseball it was from a blood infection due to the rust,and just like you had to be cut and drained, the blood was almost black. so every now and then it fills back up especially when its hot???? it really sucks and not to mention hurts when you sit down. have you ever tried drawing salve? it takes @2-3 days of loading it on and then will burst and drain. its better than being cut. and like someone posted to you sometimes antibotics are necessary. hope you feel better angela
Hey angela Thanks for sharing your story! I'm so sorry you had to go through that it had to be so painful especially in the crease. You still get them every now and then what do you do for them?
Well antibiotics don't help that's why they get so bad. I've never had a problem fighting infection. I'm not sure what organism is in there that won't go away. They are coming so frequintly that the other on ehasn't healed yet.
How did they find out that rust caused the infection?

sarah, my dr just asked a bunch of questions and came to the coclusion it was a blood infection that most likely was from the razzor etc. please keep me posted about your situation and your dr appt (if you feel comfortable) i hope everything goes well for you. i am wondering if we do have the same thing? mine isn't translucient is yours? as far as what i do when it fleres up- i use the drawing salve for a few days then it drains, it is a total pain not to mention disgusting. i had it cut out 2 years ago but it came right back so thats why i deal with it myself,it was ozzing the very next day right thru the stitches, i guess they didn't get the core? again good luck sarah let me know how you make out angela
