Hey Shell??

Hi Shell, Just wanted to let you know the latest. My daughters ex boyfriend died today. He either knowingly OD'd or it was an accident. No one knows.. but he has died. So sad another young life taken all in the name of getting a high. My daughter is devastated naturally. They were meant to stay away from each other but constantly texted everyday and still loved each other. Drugs broke them up as they were a couple for 6-7 years until drugs started him hitting her. That's when he went to jail for 30 days. He's been out about a month now. All I can think about is how his family are feeling tonight. God help them. Just needed to tell you. God Bless, Mary
Oh Mary so sad to hear! Prayers for his family and your daughter! The lives addiction claims are more than we know and so devastating to everyone involved!

Mary,
Wow! You're right, it's just so sad that drugs took another life. Even though he did some horrible stuff to your daughter, I understand her still loving him. As you and I both know, we'll put up with quite a lot from someone we love. I'm sorry for your daughter. Maybe she'll use this as motivation.
I just don't understand... When I was in high school and even through my twenties, it was the rarest thing to hear of a drug overdose. I hear about them now, nearly every day. It makes me hold little hope for my son. I really just don't think he has the fortitude to stay clean. I would love for him to prove me wrong though.
Thanks for letting me know. Take care.
Hugs,
Michelle
Oh no! I'm soooo sorry. Sending hugs & prayers to all!

I'm sorry to hear the news about your daughter's friend. Sometimes it hits a little too close to home.
Yes girls it's always sad when someone dies so young, as you well know first hand Lynn. God help his family. I like to believe that he will no longer be suffering from the hell that drugs bring to them and is at peace now. Mary
so sorry, mary. it is sad. I do forgive them. they just could not get it together in this life. its still sad.
