Well its friday down here in Australia, nice early nite for me,
I am coming up 5 Months no alcohol in 5 days time!
Not that Im counting but sure does help, dont want to start at day 1 again!!

hello there!! happy to here you are doing well, had a early night last night but early morning today. the golf course i work is beautiful this time of year, full of flowers and rolling green grass, with ponds of water and canadian geese, sometimes i even see deer and their babies. too many bees however!!

Good Morning Ginge, It's about 8:15 am here on the west coast of SoCal...thank you for asking about my week...it was a short work week due to the celebration of Independence Day. My sister, myself and 3 other gals from the Program went to Palm Springs for a long weekend. Otherwise, I didn't choose to drink or use last night which gives me one day closer to 20 months of sobriety! Life is good as long as I work my program...heard an awesome Speaker at a meeting last night and also on Wednesday night. I am fired up! Hope all is well with you.

Lox, Cleaning up the wreckage of our past, I am continually working my 9th step ~ it may take many, many years before I complete the financial amends!!! Hey, but that's okay, I'm so much further ahead if I just stay sober! You are doing great ~ certainly an inspiration to this recovering drunk/addict! Take care.

Have a GREAT weekend everyone. Remember nothing changes, if nothing changes!

I have been watching this forum (and participating occasionally) for a few weeks. I have decided to open up a new forum - www.frustrationforum.com so that people can just go nuts about their problems. I know some people want advice - and that is good. But I think a part of getting over an addiction is getting it out and knowing what the problem is. By typing out your problem and putting emotion into it - you will feel better. - I guarantee it! (And its free...)

Hi Fellow Alcoholics and Recovering Alcoholics...I've been super busy with work, working my Program, going to AA meetings...taking care of my kids...livin' life...on life's terms. Great to be sober. I'm comin' up on 20 months, woohoo!

Lox: I saw your pic on the PP site, you are so pretty! Rachel is my sis in for reals. She intro'd me to the Program when I was 23 yrs old and I didn't get it until I was 44 yrs old (it takes what it takes, they say).

Ginge: Congrats on 5 months ~ I sent an email msg to you in reply to yours to me.

Lionel: How's it going? You are such an inspiration!
