I don't want to drink anymore....but I know it can slip in as "in that case I can" lol...bloody hell.
Rocking along with the swelling and ebbing of the tide, up, down, up, down....saw my ex yesterday looking so poorly....makes me sad....I wish I could say something....but it's a hall of mirrors isn't it, and there's no way she could hear me from this side of that river in Egypt....crikey, I'm still up to my waist in its crocodiles myself. So sad....(sighs... and takes another baby step towards my own shore....)

I've got a 'thing' all week and it's gotten me inside my head again, but I'm working through the "why" of the discomfort. Meanwhile, I felt it doubly important to get to a meeting today and there were less than a dozen folks--regulars--there. Usually on Tuesdays there are at least twice that many, so I'm guessing it is a moon thing. Or everyone's all better and I didn't get the memo.
In any event, sometimes life interrupts my sobriety, but it's not interfering anymore!

Val, everything's good over here, thanks for asking. I am learning the house buying process and I think it's ridiculous. Why can't it be as easy as swiping a credit card or something like that. Being the good alkie that I am I want it yesterday and that just isn't happening. Have a good one.
