Hi everyone..
Havent been on in awhile. I wanted to touch base, especiallly after talking to atlas. I am now totally on my own, in an apartment, with my two beautiful babies...I can afford it and there are no memories of my ex here at all. I am working at a nursing home, in the kitchen, and the pay is really decent. But the best thing is, I love the job.
The precious residents never fail to teach me something new. Especially the real value of family...and friends...
You know it is so amazing how life actually repeats itself. The way you had to be taken care of as an infant, is very very similar to the way you need to be taken care of as an adult, late in life. And those who get to do it for your own parents, it seems bitter sweet.
Well, it has been over 1 yr since I have been clean from pain pills...I have been on the sub. And it went so fast. I thank God everyday for my life and the 3rd chance I have been given. And for all of you who helped me and guided me through some rough times.... I know it is still not easy, not 100%, but I can deal with that.
I will do some catching up now with all the oldies...hee hee..and the newbies!!!

talk to older wiser people, people that have lived ya know........
i to worked in a nursing home as an lpn, while completing school.......
it was hard work man..........very hard.
but very rewarding..........you do begin to love them.....
and look forward to going to work.......
