I hope everyone is doing well, I haven't had much time to come here lately, been so swamped with school work.
Just to let everyone know, that those of you who have known about all the different pills I was taking, I'm down to 20mg of methadone a day. I find it hard to let that go, so I have an appointment with a doctor on January 4th and I think if he was to prescribe me something for anxiety and change the anti depressants I'm on, I'll be able to get off the methadone now.
Well, that's about it with me right now. I'm not feeling so well today, coming down with something, sore throat and swallen glands, running a low grade fever and keep getting a headache. So, I'll do some school work today but mostly just rest. Hope everyone has a great day.

Yeah, I miss coming to the board, I still am under the weather but it's going around.
Kerry, I wish you the best of luck on your final tonight, you can do it. I hear you about school, it does get overwhelming at times, right now though it helps me keep my mind off of everything else.

Sharonn, did they find out if you have peripheal neuropathy? I hope it wasn't that and it was something they were able to take care of. It's strange though, I told you about all the pain my soon to be ex was always in? Well, in the nursing home they got him off "all" pain pills, put him on neurotin and he has less pain now.
MJ, how are you feeling? Are you still volunteering with the kitties? I have to bring my cat to the vet today, he hurt his leg over a week ago and he still isn't able to use it, just holds it up and walks on the three.

Liz...it is peripheral neuropathy...I am lowering the pain meds myself...got down 15 mgs. and it's real hard moving down from there. I hope with him being in the nursing home you have less stress...you were definitely on overload...so very hard when loved ones are ill. So you seem to be gettinng your life on track. Liz yup I do it 2 days a week & love it so much.We have such a great turn around as far as adoptions!!! The lady that runs it MAKES sure those kittys get great homes.
I really thought Id be sad or wanting to bring them all home but....I give them so much love & I play them out so much that by the time I leave they are paws up & taking kittys naps.

Hi Sharonn, sorry to hear it is peripheal neuropathy, if you can get off the pain meds, you will be surprised how much the pain lessons. See if they will try neurontin on you, it helps my soon to be ex. Yes, he's home and been here for a month and a half now. This company called Christmas in April built him a ramp for free, it turned out real nice.

Poopie, I'm sorry, I didn't receive an email from you. How are you doing?
Rae, Only somebody in Florida would want to see snow, even for one day. It's been so warm here for this time of year. Mostly 50's and some days there were even 60 degree weather. It's strange but loving it.
Not feeling so well, nothing to do with coming off the pills, I have other issues I have to have checked out. Like, I remember probably a year ago I mentioned a lump in my breast and no, I didn't bother to have it checked and now I have more lumps and very sore. I have a doctors appointment in a couple of weeks and I will discuss it with him. Also have a lump behind my ear, on the side of my head, not sure what that is either.
I just know that I'm struggling with fatigue everyday. I'm still fighting this sore throat as well, can't seem to shake it. oh yeah, Rae, How are you doing now? I remember you had the same thing and your little girl wasted your nasal spray.
Well, Hope everybody has a Merry Christmas, I'm struggling with school this week because of the fatigue and I still haven't started my Christmas shopping, so I'm getting a bit overwhelmed. Have a great day everybody.
