I am making stars out of beads amd lanyard (sp) string and then I am going to try to make angels out of yarn. My mother is really crafty too and I think it rubbed off on us kids too. She is the one who taught me to make stars and angels. She is so creative. She made the tree that is my avatar. I took some of her copper wire and I am going to try to make one too.

I use to complain about all the boring crafts she use to make us do, but now i am loving them and i am the one who is giving her all the ideas. We made a tree like your avatar in my shop class one year, i cant tell you how hard some of things are to do, we had to use welding gloves so they didnt eat our hands alive........... mm............ wonder what my mom did with that one.............?
I have been sewing little gingerbread men today with some thick white stiching to go on her sewing tree, and i should see if i have a camera here, i made some that were out of those little styrophome(sp) balls and they have buttons all over the hole thing, they turned out so so much better than i thought........ the kids helped me so i am happy that it just keept them occupied for so long

that sounds neat, but the tree is made out of thin copper wire that she twists into tree branches. I just need to get me some needle nose pliers to make mine. I bet it is hard to make ornaments with all those kids. I can barely stand making them with my three, I can't imagine 6. I think I would die.
all i can say is i am glad they arnt all mine!!! dont think i could handle it everyday........lol....... knock on wood i guess!!! They actually like doing things like that so as long as i keep them busy they are doing well............. The tree i made i sauterd it quite a bit, if you know what that is.......... man, i am kinda funny i own more tools than most guys, now that is a little backwards.
The kids have read ALL day they are all laying on love sacs and reading, man how many kids would be content with a HUGE stack of books and actually sit still. I did but i was nuts!!!! So i guess i got lucky today!!!
