I have been out of the loop for a bit but I am back. BTW Happy Birthday VW Girl. Hope you had a wonderful day!!!!!
There are way too many of the threads to read to get caught up on everything so I just decided to start a new one.
Had some surgery last month. All went really well. I did however realize that I really like the pills they gave me. Yeah like that was not an easy one to see coming. That's all over with now and the pills are gone.
Hi to VWGirl, Zac, Ginge, Rachel, Love-Dove (how is your Pop?), Bella, Izzy, Jayde (has anyone heard from her?), Carolyn, Stacey and if I missed anyone else hello to you too.

I'm glad you're back around and surgery went well...it gets quiet so the more the merrier...I'm glad the pills are gone because I now refer to them as alcohol in pill form cause for me, they took me back down the road to hell....

Hi Stacey...glad to be back. I had been lurking a bit but not posting. It seems like people have just disappeared huh? I guess that's like everything in life. There are cycles right? I am glad about the pills too. I would have taken more if I could have gotten my hands on them so it is good it's all over with. I never knew too much about pills until I started on these boards. I'm glad that I went into it knowing the dangers of them.
Zac...nice to talk to you again pal. Everything is for the most part healed. It'll be 5 weeks tomorrow. My hubby was very anxious for recovery. I told him his playground was under remodel at the moment so he had to wait to play again so to speak. LOLOL...hope you had a great day at work.

Hi Love-Dove...great to hear from you my friend. What wonderful news about your father! :) I couldn't be happier for you! :) Boy you sure went through a rough patch there for awhile. You are one tough cookie IMO.
I noticed that alot of the regulars have disappeared. Has anyone heard from Jayde. I hope to God she is okay. Hopefully someone has personal email contact with her and can relay if she is safe or not.
Haven't seen Bella around either. Oh well you are right. Everyone will be back when they are ready.

I think that was back in June. Maybe it was just summer time and people weren't as busy. Goes in cycles like everything else. It is nice to be back. I missed all of you. I went through some rough times this summer and this board was a real support system for me. Thank you all for that.

Val, as you know I am living with the mini-version of me when I was active in my disease...but there is hope and for the most part life is very good, nothing beats sobrietyfor me. My birthday was good, but it was kinda like I just realized how old I really am!!!! The boards do go in cycles...and with the holidays coming, well they usually get busy right after then, kinda like meetings...after everyone who is out there partying gets their DUIs, etc.
