hello, i am a recovering addict. my boyfriend of 3 years and i was busted with methamphetamines on january 13, 04. he was put in jail but i wasn't. he recieved a felony 1 and is waiting on a court date. i had to bail him out of jail. now we have to be apart for a while. i got sent to red river hospital and he moved away. now we both are doing very well. i go to NA meetings and work the steps. i have been clean for three months. yes, it is possible to stop the drug, but you will never get rid of the cravings. this is an illness. you will have this for the rest of your life.
Hang in there Amber you can do it! The cravings made never go away, but each day you stay clean the stronger you will get and you will be able to over come the cravings.
