I have been off and on oxy's I want to give up for me so I can feel better about my self and stop going to doctors. Yesterday I got caught out changing a script from 20 to 80mg they picked I know I have a problem and I cant tell anybody.
If you guys have anything at all this place helped me three years ago. I got bowel cancer and they fixed and they pulled the pills from under me going down isnt the answer me for im an addict. cold turkey is the only way
Please guys give me you answers I need them.

STAY STRONG. Depending on what kind of physical you are experiencing depends on what you can use. HOT Baths work wonders if you are restless. Wrap yourself in a cocoon at night that helps too. Cold medicine seems to work. Another good trick is Immodium AD for the bathroom problems. Chamomille tea is great for helping you to sleep at night. There are many things that work.
Thank you for you quick reply I need as much help as I can get I never thought I would go down this road. I had bowel cancer 5 operation. But I look at my kids there all teenagers and the pain killers are getting out of control.

Your welcome. Pain pills are becoming the thing now. I am 22 I know. Just keep your head up. I have been down this road more then once. Its not going to be easy but TRUST me you can do. Oxys are evil. I have played around with those too and they are so easy to love!
three years on and off on subutex then i get clean my husband used to beat and rape me I am getting councilling and I am getting a big compenstation claim for the hell he put my kids and i through but money cant buy back the time I lost the life I lost. You know money comes money goes.

Did they take the script from you? I guess so. I ask because maybe you can wean.
Again I am sorry......you know you can do it, but it's not a real fun kick. You already know that. You can absolutely do it though....personally the tough part for me was always staying clean. Thinking of ya, Rhonda.

Welcome to the board, the first step is admitting that you have a problem. I am sorry about your cancer. That's terrible. You are not alone...can a Doctor help you detox and get you the medical attention you need. I don't want to give any advice because if you have cancer that in itself is a problem.
There is a way out...but I am not sure what the answer is for a cancer patient. I assume lots of people with debilitating pain realize that they are more than physically addicted to these extremely powerful meds.
Are you in remission? I am hoping you find the help you need. Please reach out and ask for it. You can find some help and solace in AA/NA meetings....they are free and the only requirement for membership is the desire to stop using.
