Hi my names had I'm 28 I was a H user from age of 14 came out of 3 month rehab 18 stayed clean woow till I was 26 but I was drinking a lot badly went from 3 times a week to everyday of the week smoked loads of weed hmm very hard to talk about the next bit I had a boy an girl an me an partner turned to drink we got in a fight arrested an social services took my children I was broke I cud of got them back but they went they nans his moms an it took 4 month an finely got them home 6 days a week they came round an smelled weed an they told me to stop I cudnt an the more I tried the worse I got an cuz I was so dwn an just mental tbh started using herion again the drug test showed it up after months of hiding it an my habit got worse my kids nan won custardy even tho I been totally drug from 3 months but to little to late for them so of course I been using again hiding it tho from the world once a week it went up an up I always use pain killers I dnt no where I'm at at the moment but I been using once a week I brought methadone got clean then did the H thing again then brought methadone again from a friend then I found out I was 15 weeks pregnant I only did a test cuz was getting fat but shudnt of been now I got them testing me again I'm scared cuz I'm f***ing up an I know it also my baby I'm scared I have just smoked once a week but finding it so hard not to well that's me s*** aye

Welcome. You sound like you have had a rough time of it. What I am hearing is that you've tried rehab and it hasn't lasted very long, your kids are with their grandparents but now you are pregnant again and a bit scared because you know your baby is getting all the drugs you are doin'.
My advice to you is this. If your baby is born addicted to illegal drugs, I believe the authorities can and will take your baby when its born. Because you don't yet have a grip on being able to stay clean please go to a methadone clinic and start a program with them. Many believe that being on methadone is bad for the mother and the baby, but in reality it is safe for you both. IF you follow the program 100% you will have a safe pregnancy, safe for you and your baby. AND if you follow it 100%, you may find that being clean is the first step in being a great parent.
Taking methadone during pregnancy isn't harmful, but detoxing is. Methadone is the treatment of choice for heroin dependency during pregnancy. The effects of methadone in pregnancy have been widely studied and when properly prescribed it provides a non-stressful environment for the fetus to develop, may prevent miscarriage, fetal distress and premature labor.
You also may have heard that your baby will be born addicted to methadone and will suffer from side effects, but here are the real facts:
Methadone does not cause fetal abnormalities. No harmful effects have been found in the studies of effects on pregnancy. Premature birth and low birth weight can be associated with cigarette smoking and poor nutrition and not attributed to methadone.
Babies born to mothers on methadone will have methadone in their systems but studies show that children can be weaned successfully and safely with no adverse effects.
You may also have heard you should not breast feed. Breast feeding is now considered safe for babies whose mothers are on methadone but NOT safe for women who are HIV positive.
Please make sure you talk to your doctor and give you baby the benefit of you, as a mom, not doing illegal drugs throughout the pregnancy.

I no what your saying but I've just used once every two weeks I was hooked be4 I knew I took metherdone when I found out I dnt rly rattle I just feel the need threw stress sumtimes I'm half way threw an scared that if they find out what I've been doing with out telling anyone they will take my baby an I have to sign to my mom I'm so up an dwn an u are right I just rly need not to even dabble just cuz I'm sad : ]

You need to not do ANYTHING! Using because you feel sad?? You know that when you use , the feeling lasts for a little while and then you feel bad for what you have done then you do it again. You haven't really solved anything. That's what addiction does .
The damage you may be doing to this baby may not be known right away. There are ways to get help, please don't be selfish and take the chance of harming this baby. Be honest with your doctors and if you are at a clinic, them as well. A moment of weakness can have LIFELONG CONSEQUENCES for this child!
At least do what's right for the remainder of your pregnancy. Once the baby is born and safe you can do what you want, but make sure that baby is in a safe, drug free place first.
Please, ask for help.
