Life is a whirlwind right now but know that I am thinking of all of you....sending positive sober energy.

Good Evening C ~ My life is a whirlwind too! Life is definitely in session! I had the privilege of working with my Sponsee tonight and went through her 4th and 5th step with her. My youngest daughter is with her Father...so my apt is very peaceful right now. After I finished with my Sponsee I went to a beginners Speaker's meeting ~ you cannot believe all the young people in recovery at this meeting...one young man took a cake for a year and another for two years ~ there is hope and people are getting the message at a young age and they are staying sober one day at a time. Otherwise, I'm still somewhat reacting to situations versus pausing when agitated as I've been directed to do...but I do know God has a plan for me and my daughter too, that I just need to do the next indicated thing, trust the process and be in acceptance of whatever outcome may present itself. God struck me sober just in the nick of time...this would be a total nightmare if I was drinking too. So glad to see your post, although I don't visit the site as often as I use to...I think of you and admire you and the program you work. Again, so glad to see your post. PS-I've yet to return to Alanon, I need to get my butt in there...I was reminded tonight by a young girl who is 20, she got sober when she was 17 and recently celebrated 3 years of sobriety. Out of the mouths of babes...(oh, hello to everyone else too!)

don't forget to acknowledge all the good you are doing for you and others, take time just to sit and positivily affirm your life and all you do, the warmth in your heart is not just there for others it is there for you to.
