I know Gina. I admire him so much for just his attitude about the whole thing alone... He's been through so much and is still a stubborn little spitfire.

I just got off the phone with Danny. I wanted to check in one more time to see if they'd made him comfortable and ask if he'd be able to sleep tonight. He's pretty amazing. He was cracking jokes and making me laugh. Attitude plays such a huge role in healing so his full recovery is pretty much a sure thing.

I never realized how sick he was until i read all the crap he sent me. Last week we or should I say he basically spoke for over an hour. He is a bright man Great Dad.

Danny may use humor defensively. If so, he must have been scared out of his wits last night because he was cracking one joke after another. He said his surgeon came in for a final pre-op consult and told Danny, "Gee, I hope I can get to sleep tonight." LMAO!
He'll probably be out of it tomorrow and said he may have a GN tube in, but he asked me to check in anyway. If he can't talk, I'll read these posts to him and get an update from his brother.
He knows how much we want him back on his feet again.
