Well its good news in my life eventually and well overdue. I have been on the list for years and eventually my chance has arrived...
3 bedroom, semi detached, new ceilings, new floors, new kitchen, fittings, freshly plastered walls, new fireplace, new roof...this place is just so perfect. Front and back secluded safe garden for little one with outhouse for his tools and cole house for my junk...lol. I cried last night because I didnt think we had got it. It was a day from hell, I lost a tenna, smashed all my eggs, my daughter smashed my friends brand new iron (luckily it just missed her head) and then kevin got a caution for shaking his dust sheets in the street where he is working!!! Anyway rang today and looks like its mine and I am just waiting on a call to confirm the details. Normally you would move in the following day but this house is is the proceeds of getting a new roof so we got 2 weeks to pack.

im glad your in with a bit of luck , i have also been on the waiting list for a number of years im stuck in a 2 bedroom house with 4 kids and it's a very small house anyway it's hectic havin to find room for everyone's belongings to go and i live next to a neighbour from hell i want to move asap too xxxxxxxx

Are your kids little? I have three one girl (16) and two boys (13 and 8) and they'd kill each other if they shared a room! And I'd be tearing my hair apart. We have a four bedroom, so everyone has their own room, but am thinking about turning Tom's room (the baby, 8) into a computer room cuz even tho he has his own room, he insists on sleeping with me. When I tell him no, he goes to bed in his room and guess who's next to me when I wake up? can't win.

Aww thanks everyone. We went and viewed it tonight and should get the keys tomorrow...looks like we may be moving in sooner than we thought. Kevin is having NOTHING tomorrow then maybe subs the next??? He is supposed to be going to his sisters Tuesday so its in then he is going to have to go work for her too while I am left to paint...lol.
I aint even bothered about rushing because one thing I have learnt it patience always pays off.
God Emz....cant believe your in a 2 bed house with 4!!! Its no always so difficult to get a house around here but 3 beds are rare and the area is high demand. Its cos its so cheap around here...lol.
Well I may be offline for a while with the housemove but hopefully get the net on in new house as soon as possible.

I've got four weeks before my move and I'm dreading it! I mean I'm not...I'm really looking forward to it, but we're crammed into a tiny little old cottage...very quaint...but it's such a mess!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea how I'm gonna get packed up in time!

being able to make a home,not just somwhere you live,and gardens for the little one to enjoy in time for summer,if we have one!

Yeh am so excited...were in a upstairs flat at the moment and we dont have a garden. My little girl dont even have her own bedroom bless her. All my things are crammed in here but its organized and tidy...lol.
Its so exciting because this flat is mine so it will feel like "our home" and its so exciting to think about setting up a family home where my girl can play in a garden or in her own room, I can excape upstairs for some space instead of all the rooms being next door to each other!

I just had to add on here that I have still not had the confirmation through about the house and I have rang and rang and rang and still NOTHING. I havent slept for 3 days now and I am going insane. Everytime the phone ring I am diving up and getting mad when its not the council. I feel like telling everyone who is ringing me to go away cos I dont wanna speak to them, I wanna hear from the council. What if I dont get it after all??? What if there is a probem??? I cant cope with this, I just want some keys in my hands then I can rest. One woman send ring back Monday...am like yeh as if am gonna wait till then, If I havent heard by this afternoon then I guess I aint got it after all. They normally contact you within 2 working days to do a viewing and hand the keys over...nope I havent heard a thing!!!

Awww am so happy for meeself..lol. I cant believe this is it!! I can move from my little pokey flat and start a fresh new life with hopefully not as many problems as before.
I cant wait to decorate, clean, refurnish etc etc. I love NEW. I am just a little scared because I am a little funny with staying in new places etc but I a, sure I will settle in no time at all.
