I am a father of a 27yr old girl. She is on heroin. I have her 2 children. One is 5 and the other is 19mths. How do i detach from the addict when i have her children. ?? They get picked up once a week and brought to see their mother. I get texts from her. We are on pretty good terms . It has been 5 weeks now. It has been the hardest thing i have ever gone through. I am off today , unexcused, because the 19mth old is home with a double ear infection.

I have gone to NAR anon. I have gone to Al Anon. Hard to go anywhere right now with two small children. Need to find sitter to go now. Just don't know how to interact with my 27 year old daughter.
