How is everyones weekend going?? I just picked up our Christmas Tree. Im soo excited. Cant wait for the holidays you know. I hope you guys have a nice weekend

What did you ask for Christmas?
We are not putting a Tree up, I know I know......... have not done so the past few years, we do not have kids, do not exchange gifts, are rarely here during the holiday, so why bother is my thinking. Too much trouble to put it up for two weeks, then the needles die off, gets in the carpet, in my foot. lol Can I be anymore humbugish?
Although I love the smells of Christmas, I do decorate with whatever I can cut down off the magnolia tree, holly tree and gather pine cones.
And thanks to Tim, will attempt to make a key lime pie this year, will bring a little of Florida to Virginia or the taste of it.

So i just got off the phone from my sub dr.. It was a weird call, I am doing marvelous and its like the dr doesnt beleive me. So i said fine. Ill come in next friday and take your drug test lol. Unreal what a jerk!

Reddog, you are sounding so upbeat, a far cry from the miserable you were a few weeks ago. Really glad to hear it.
I put up my artificial tree, wanted a real one, but with moving, didn't have the time to mess with it.
I have all of my shopping done, just need to put everything in gift bags (a true savior for us busy women). I have just finished mixing up a double batch of chocolate chip cookies (my Christmas treat) and am fixing to make umpty-dozen batches for the holidays. Next week I will make peanut butter kiss cookies. It's the first time in 3 years that I've had the oomph (i was using before) to even think about tackling this job, plus I have a double oven so things should work pretty smooth.

You know how well you are doing and that's what counts. I know it's hard when you are so excited and you tell your doc and he's like "whatever" about it and doesn't believe you. It's like getting a door shut in your face. But you know you are doing well and when you give him the pee test, then he'll see how great you are. Maybe he's having a bad day or something. That's his stuff.
You just keep up all the great things you are doing. It's a true joy to see you happy!

I don't understand why you have to go in and pee for him if you aren't taking the sub any longer. Now if you were still on the sub, I could see a urine screening.. Really, I just wouldn't go for a urine test, but that is just me...Sounds like the doctor just wants some more of your money..
