..Bryn..i have,nt got a daughter so i can,t really offer no support regarding what it is your going thru..but i can say that thinking of picking back up the brown powder will no way help your situation..wots it gonna do..numb the pain for a little while..bryn you have come so far..and to be honest..my personal feeling is why even think of picking..that should,nt even come to mind..i dunno what your going thru as i said..but plz bryn..your better than that..you inspire people on here to get/stay clean..you definately helped me..hand on heart that is a true statement..when i was first going thru my recovery..you (aswell as others).were there for me everyday..that i will never forget..bryn wot your goin thru right now maybe is tearing you apart and breaking your heart..but goin back to wot you use to do will break your strength that you have..as easy as its me to say cos im not walking in your shoes right now (that would look kinda dodgy if i was lol )

Bryn, don't take all the crap so personally. I never used drugs or had a drinking problem and my daughter made HUGE MISTAKES and caused me MAJOR PAIN AND AGONY. She'll get through this in time. As for the little Wanker on My Space...he must be some kind of nothing to be wasting his time trying to downgrade your daughter...let it go. Not worth your energy, though I know how it infuriates you. One day, you and your daughter will be on the same page. I swear, and your experience will be invaluable..just not yet while she's thinking she "knows it all," and they all think they do at this age. Counseling will help her. luv corrinne

Hi, Bryn..missed you around here for a while. Honestly I don't know how any of us parents make it through the years from 12 to mid 20's. It is so emotionally draining and so scary. I know there's no easy way to let go of our own mistakes that we fear contributed to your kids' mistakes....we just have to find a way to accept it and move forward somehow. The one thing you cannot do though is allow her to hold your past over your head and let her know it bothers you....it gives her too much power (power that she doesn't really want). She must know, from your reactions, that she cannot "use" your past to justify her actions now in any way...you're not buying it. Be strong, Bryn. She'll sense your guilt and fear and use it against you.....so get rid of it. miss you. luv corrinne
