I worked as a temp worker in 2006. I only made $4,665. gross. Can my hubby count me as a dependent? And how much would we get back for just that? Thanks
Your husband can't claim you as a dependent regardless of how much you made. You do have the choice of filing as married filing jointly or married filing seperately. Your $4665 needs to be added to his income if filing jointly.

Nobody can claim you as a dependant IF you file your taxes this year & if you worked than you have to claim your income..So my answer would be NO, he can't claim you as a dependant. You have the option like Danny said of filing two different ways. I think one you get back a little more money than the other. It all depends.

We can't tell you how much your going to get back. That would depend on MANY things. Do you have children?? Did you give to charities? Etc etc etc. Gas/mileage expenses etc etc. Like I said go to Turbo Tax. com and it will walk you through..
It will even give you an amount on the left hand side of how much you guys will get back and you can file through them and have your check direct deposited into your bank account. I think it is so much easier than H&R Block and cheaper!!
