If there are people that have herd of it...there has to be someone who can get me off of it, or at least tell me alittle of what i can do to make it better for me. I was always sleeping for the first day of not takeing it and now im jumping all over the place!! My legs are jummping off the bed and i cant stop crying about anything. My kids think im crazey.

Have you called your doctor for help on getting off of the methadone? Maybe and inpatient detox, or outpatient. Some here have tapered but for me it never worked. And I have only used methadone a few times. Good luck to you. God be with you. take care

In my opinion you have made the RIGHT decision. As far as going cold turkey I can't advise you. Some of the others will have some help. Hang in there. There is a way honestly.
Would be nice to call the Doctor and say "HEY...help me off this crap" But thats not gonna work this time!!!
I was takeing Vicadins for a very long time, almost 4 years and then all of a sudden someone told me that these would help me stay away from the vic's and they did!!! But the problom is that now i cant get them out of me and im haveing a horrible time of it.

Why dont you try calling a detox/rehab in your area to help you. That would be my suggestion. take care

For whatever the reason, everyone keeps stareing at me in the library and i have been crying alot and the lady at the front just asked me to leave.

My d.o.c. was vics for years. Constantly using, w/dring and chasing. My last time I quit ct from vics and xanax and ended up going to local E.R. My brain totally went out of whack and that was after 1wk clean. Jeez...Anyway I was there a few days but helped past the roughest part. Try to come back to boards....
